The fundamental process of our investment is:

Research
When an opportunity to invest or acquire is presented to us, we commence our initial due diligence on the company, leadership, shareholders, personalities, and industry. We also seek to understand the desires of the affected stakeholders to ensure a suitable deal structure is in mind during the earliest phase.

Consultation and Partnership
We spend time with the affected leadership/ owners/ founders of the business, those seeking sale or investment, to develop mutual respect and deeper understanding of their desires. During this time, we make a final decision making a non-binding offer for investment or acquisition.

Detailed Due Diligence
In the instance that the company seeking sale or investment accepts the terms of the non-binding offer, we ask that they grant us a period for exclusive due diligence. Once we have completed our detailed due diligence in this period, a final offer is confirmed and we are ready to proceed.

Acceptance
Every effort is placed into producing a comprehensive offer, aiming to create an optimal outcome for all stakeholders in the deal. We take this consideration into every deal that is passed through the research phase, with the aim of executing, so no one’s time is wasted.

Investment
Every company is unique, which means that each investment structure is tailored for each situation. Typically, investments are carried out via one or a combination of debt for equity, cash, earn out, leveraged buyout, sweat equity, merger into one of our portfolio companies, or deferral.

Support
When we invest, we believe we need to make an ongoing contribution. To create value, we collaborate with the existing management teams, as agreed, in:
- Assisting in creating and implementing strategic plans, business plans, and formal budgeting processes.
- Providing non-executive oversite and/or mentoring.
- Collaborating with the existing leadership to knock down any perceived roadblocks and hurdles.
- Overhauling and modernising sales, marketing, recruitment, training, accounts, and management functions.
- Elevating technological and communication standards.
- Leveraging our network across our portfolio companies and our co-investment network’s portfolios, for cross collateralised sales, marketing, supply, and knowledge opportunities.
- Collaborating by providing insight for growth opportunities via both M&A and organic strategies.
- Leveraging our partnerships with recruiters, lenders, strategic partners, key contacts, accounting resources, and legal representation to maximize revenues and growth.
- Identifying potential exit strategies, when appropriate.
